Xiaomi is finally launching its new operating system in India. The first devices to get the new OS will be the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6. If you have one of these devices, you should receive the update this month. The company announced the news in an X post and said that the new operating system will change the user experience.
Xiaomi had previously said that HyperOS would start rolling out to Xiaomi and Poco smartphones in the first quarter of the new year. However, the company has only released the update for the Surf 2 devices so far. It is likely that the company will release the update for other smartphones soon.
HyperOS is based on Linux and Xiaomi’s in-house Vela system. This means that the operating system can run smoothly on smartphones with less RAM. Xiaomi said at the launch of HyperOS in October last year that it uses fewer resources than other operating systems and is very lightweight.
